PURPOSE: To flexibly cope with alterations of business processes by graphically representing the business processes such as a waiting and a branching process including the complicated transfer of a document.
CONSTITUTION: A person who defines business process information pastes a document icon onto a business process information generation window 600. An icon indicating a document circulated in the business process is pasted over an arrow connecting icons showing constituent elements of the business process and then the document transferred between the constituent elements of the business process is visually represented. For example, a business process which waits for a document (a) created by an operator A and a document (b) created by an operator B and transfers the waited document bundle to an operator is described on the business process information generation window 600. When the business process is altered, a combination of icon components is only altered to easily cope with the alteration of the business process.
