Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the method and device for controlling the automatic gripping device wherein the interpretation of an image processing program and a gripping operation program is unified. CONSTITUTION:The control unit is equipped with a storage part storing the program including a series of image processing instructions for picking up an image of a work and calculating position information from the image of the work and a series of gripping operation instructions for gripping the work according to the position information, and one interpretation part 87 which interprets the image processing instructions and gripping operation instructions in the program distinctively, converts them into corresponding intermediate instruction codes, and passes the converted instruction codes to the image processing part 6 and a gripping part respectively.
