Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sense certainly whether a wheel is banking and perform optimum braking in accordance with the banking condition.
CONSTITUTION: The target rate of slippage at the time of anti-lock control is presumed from the wheel speeds of the front wheel part 16 and rear wheel part 18, and the inclination angle of the axis of the front wheel part 16 to the runway is sensed by one set of ultrasonic sensors 74a, 74b installed on both sides of the front wheel part 16 a certain distance apart from each other, and the target rate of slippage is corrected on the basis of the obtained inclination angle. Thereby a brake control can be done in accordance with the banking condition.
