Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for controlling the combustion air quantity of a fuel off gas for controlling the combustion air quantity allowing the stable combustion of the fuel cell off gas even when the composition of a raw fuel supplied to a fuel reformer, the flow rate ratio to a load current, and the reforming condition of the fuel reformer are changed.
CONSTITUTION: The difference between the air quantity including the oxygen quantity necessary for combusting the raw fuel flow rate detected by a raw fuel flow rate detector 12, considering the time delay T until it reaches a fuel cell 1 through a fuel reformer 5 in a control device 30, and the air quantity including the oxygen quantity consumed in the battery reaction necessary for the load current detected by a current detector 25 corresponds to the combustion air quantity necessary for combusting a fuel off gas by a burner 8. Thus, the total air quantity obtained by multiplying the combustion air quantity by an air-fuel ratio is inputted as a target value to a combustion air quantity controller 32, and the combustion air quantity is controlled by the rotating speed control of a blower 18.
