Abstract:

To prevent a device having the function of command queuing from receiving a lot of commands.

The number of commands, for which issue is completed but the end is not reported, to the device having the function of command queuing is counted. When issuing a new command, the said number of commands is compared with the number of inflow limits. If the said number of commands is less than the number of inflow limits, the said new command is issued, but if the said number of commands is not less than the said number of inflow limits, the said new command is not issued (step 526). Thus, concerning the device having the function of command queuing, occurrence of overhead to return a lot of busy is prevented. Therefore, this device can be concentrated in original processing to commands so that processing efficiency is improved.
