Abstract:

To provide a method of controlling the number of absorption water heater/coolers for stabilizing a temperature of hot/cold water by controlling a time interval to readjust the number of operations to an optimum value as needed.

The method of controlling the number of operations of the absorption water heaters/coolers A-E connected in parallel with each other through pipes 70 and constituted to be collectively controlled, includes predetermining a table indicating correspondence relationship of an estimated time to reach a prescribed highest set temperature or lowest set temperature and the interval of times for readjusting the number of operations, newly determining the interval of readjustment time of the number of operations of the absorption water heaters/coolers by calculating temperature gradient each time when a detected temperature at a hot/cold water inlet part reaches a predetermined certain set temperature by operating the time necessary to reach the highest set temperature or the lowest set temperature as the estimated time, and determining the interval of the readjustment time corresponding to the estimated time from the table, and newly determining the number of operations on the basis of determination standard by each expiration of the readjustment time.
