Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a device for controlling a solenoid-valve controlled fuel- metering system that improves accuracy of the fuel metering.
CONSTITUTION: A solenoid-valve-controlled fuel metering system, particularly, used in a diesel internal combustion engine is controlled. An electronic controller calculates the drive beginning moment E and/or the drive end moment A of at least one solenoid valve with considering switching time TA of the solenoid valve based upon delivery beginning angle WB and drive angle WD. In this case, the switching time TA is considered as a switching angle WTA. In the case of the drive angle kept constant and rotation number being changeable, drive pulse is early shifted with increase of the rotation number. Therefore, injected fuel decreases with the increase of the rotation number to achieve a stable operation of the internal combustion engine.
