Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the operation ability of an aircraft at takeoff and landing by operating an emergency trim system in the trim controller, of the aircraft simultaneously with a regular trim system only at takeoff and landing, so as to speed up the controlling of a trim. CONSTITUTION:At takeoff and landing, since the control surface of a flap is set in a lowering position without fail, when a flap control switch 4 mounted on a flap lever is operated so as to set the flap toward its lowering position, a relay switch 3 is turned ON. In this state, when a trim control switch 1 is operated, a motor 5 is driven through a regular system and also an emergency motor 6 is driven through the switch 3. Since a trim actuator is constructed of gears in a conventional speed sum method, each number of rotations of the motor 5 and the motor 6 are summed up so that the output shaft of a jack screw 8 can generate double the conventional speed, consequently, a trim control during takeoff becomes double the operation rate on a cruise, so that the optimum controlling performance can be obtained.
