METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CORRECTING PROJECTION IMAGE AND MACHINE READABLE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correlate the projection coordinate of an image element on a projection screen to the display coordinate of a corresponding pixel displayed on a computer screen.
SOLUTION: A user controls a computer 21 on the projection screen 23 by using an incident laser beam 27 from a laser pointer 25. A correction system 30 is composed of an imaging device 31 such as camera software 33. The display image and the projecting image are exactly made correspondent by the following steps: (i) points (more than four) for correction with known positions are displayed on the computer screen together with an application image, (ii) the image described in (i) is projected on the screen 23, (iii) the projection image and the correction points are acquired by the camera or the like, (iv) analyzed by the software 33, all images except for the correction points are deleted by filtering and (v) the geometrical relation of a correction point Qk on the projection image corresponding to the correction point on the computer screen is exactly determined by linear conversion due to the software.
