Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DECODING SUPERIMPOSED CODE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2702049
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve a decoding error rate when digital communication is executed through the use of an superimposed code.
CONSTITUTION: When an F code decoding section 21 decodes an Fi code based on each vector ri (i=0, 1,...N) of a reception signal divided by a reception signal division section 11, the section 21 detects an error for each bit location (j) (j=0, 1,...n-1) to generate a missing flag Ei(j). An f-code extract section 24 extracts a j-th bit of a vector r0 as a j-th bit of a reception word of the f-code when a missing flag missing flag Ei(j) of any (i) is cleared. Conversely, when the missing flag Ei(j) is set to any (i), the section 24 replaces the j-th bit of the reception word of the f-code with a bit candidate fed from a bit candidate generating section 23. An f-code decoding section 25 decodes the reception word of the f-code and an information bit extract section 15 extracts an information bit from the decoding result of the F1 code and the f-code.
