Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register arranging positions of articles to be decorated and printers with high accuracy with one simple transfer mechanism for transferring and arranging the articles for respective printers and carry the articles at various speeds fit for the various requirements on a carrying line.
SOLUTION: Decorations are formed on articles on a plurality of processing sections while the articles are carried along a carrying line 16 including straight line sections 18 and 20 at least on a part. Carrying worms are provided on the carrying line straight line sections 18 and 20, and threads of worms are engaged with substrates movable along the carrying line 16, and the substrates 12-with articles carried thereon are moved forward along the carrying line 16 by the transfer screw movement generated by the rotation of worms. The variation of speed of the substrates 12 is generated by varying the pitches of threads of worms rotated at a constant speed on some areas.
