Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable high speed strip passing, to improve descaling capacity and to reduce the trouble of waste liquid treatment by repeatedly using one or more times of a brushing treatment and an anode electrolytic treatment in electrolytic liquid. CONSTITUTION:A hot-rolled alloy steel strip S is brush-treated with brushing rolls 1a having grindability to remove a large part of the scale. Washing water is made to be harmless in a treating device after storing into a washing waste liquid tank 1b. Successively, the steel strip S is sent to a cathode electrolytic treating vessel 2a to remove the seale having weak bonding force and also sent to the anode electrolytic treating vessel 3a to receive the descaling action. The steel strip S removed a large part of the scale is sent to an electrolytic vessel 5a having the same constitution as the anode electrolytic treating vessel 3a after executing a brushing treatment with brushing rolls 4a to receive electrolytic polishing action. Successively, this strip is conveyed to an electric supplying vessel 6a having the same constitution as the anode electrolytic treating vessel 2a to execute the electric supplying treatment. Further, if necessary, smut is removed with a brushing device 7.
