Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new type of method and device for detecting fire with which a fire is detected with high sensitivity at an initial fire stage of smoking or non-flame burning. SOLUTION: A sensor device installed in a certain area (i) detects a gas and discriminates the gas while using an existing pattern recognition method such as main component analysis (S1-S4). When no gas is detected, a flag fi is turned to '0'. When the gas is discriminated and it shows humidity, the state of fi=1 is established.
