Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING ARRANGEMENT POSITION OF WORK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3368244
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work arrangement position determination method capable of bringing plural works close to each other as much as possible while suppressing a robot so as not to interfere with an adjacent work during the operation of the robot.
SOLUTION: In a robot device 1, plural works are arranged on a stage 5 and the welding operation of these works is executed by an articulated robot 3 suspended by a gate type moving device 2. The upper surface of a main plate of a work 11 is set up as an interference judging face, plural quadrangular pyramids using the contour points A1 to C2 of respective members of the work 11 as vertexes and the interference judging face as a bottom are set up and a minimum area including the bottoms of respective quadrangular pyramids is set up as a work interference area G. As to a work 10 to be operated, a minimum area including all welding lines on an interference judgment plane S is set up as a work operation area H. Work interference areas G and work operation areas H for all works are set up and the arrangement positions of respective works are determined so that the work interference areas G and the work operation areas H do not overlap and these works are brought close to each other as much as possible.
