PURPOSE: To shorten the process by eluting and recovering a core in a high- pressure vessel after HIP.
CONSTITUTION: A core 11 is inserted into the hollow part of a body 9 to be treated to form a lining layer forming clearance 12, a lining powder 13 is filled in the clearance 12, and the powder is subjected to HIP in the treating chamber 5 of a high-pressure vessel 2 to form a lining layer. The core 11 consists of a metallic material having a solid phase temp. higher than the HIP temp. The body 9 filled with the powder 13 is set on a recovery case 10 arranged at the lower part of the treating chamber 5, the temp. and pressure are increased, and the powders 13 are subjected to HIP and diffusion joining. The treating chamber 5 is then reduced to atmospheric pressure and heated to a temp. higher than the liq. phase temp. of the core 11, and the core 11 is eluted and recovered in the recovery case 10.
