Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a demand type germicide resin (namely, a demand type germicide resin having univalent poly-iodide anions absorbed or impregnated in a resin as described below) composed of an iodinated strongly basic anion exchange resin.
SOLUTION: In a method for disinfecting air containing air-borne microorganisms, the air is disinfected by eliminating the vital power of the microorganisms by bringing the microorganisms into contact with a demand type germicide composing the iodinated strongly basic anion exchange resin by passing the air on the resin provided in an air course means by making the air to flow through the air course means.
