PURPOSE: To easily convey a raw metal and to improve the solubility of the raw metal in a plating soln. in electroplating using an insoluble anode by using a large-diameter granular plating metal and crushing the metal immediately before the metal is dissolved in the plating soln.

CONSTITUTION: A large-diameter granular plating metal M is supplied into a hopper 1 from an air-conveyor vehicle 10 through a pipeline 11. The metal M is introduced into a crusher 3 by a feeder 2, pulverized and then charged into a dissolution tank 4. A plating sol. with the plating metal ion concn. decreased by plating from a circulating tank 6 is supplied to the dissolution tank 4 by a liq. feed pump 9 and agitated along with pulverized metal, hence the metal is rapidly dissolved in the soln., and a plating soln. having a specified content of plating metal ion is sent to a plating tank from the circulating tank 6 through a pipeline 7. Consequently, dust is not generated from the metal M, and the solubility of the metal in the soln. is improved.
