To provide a method and a device for drying a ceramic molded product, by uniformly irradiating microwave at respective ceramic molded products which are supplied into a drying bath to be transferred therein to maintain excellent quality with little distortion.
The drying device 1 comprises a drying bath 10 to store ceramic molded products 8, a microwave generater 20 to supply microwave into the drying bath 10, and a carrying conveyor 30 to continuously supply the ceramic molded products 8 into the drying bath 10, to carry them therein and out of it. A plurality of microwave generators 20 in the carrying direction of the carrying conveyor 30 and a detection sensor 40 to detect the distribution of the ceramic molded products 8 in the drying bath 10 are arranged in the drying bath 10. The respective microwave generators 20 are constituted so as to change the output of the respective microwave generators 20 corresponding to the distribution of the ceramic molded products 8 detected by the detection sensor 40.
