Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, inexpensive and robust method and device for drying wood chips.SOLUTION: Wood chips to be used as raw material for a gas-generating reactor (6) are produced, and a product gas thereof is used in a co-generator (BHKW). Air heated by heat radiation from a housing or structure of the BHKW heats and dries the wood chips in a drying bunker (3). The wood chips enter the drying bunker through a first air-tight air lock (2) and exit the drying bunker through a second air-tight air lock (4).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
