Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the cross stroke inconspicuous in an electrolysis for electrochemically forming rough surface on a material to be treated.
CONSTITUTION: Rectangular feeder electrodes 2 and 3 are provided in an electrolytic cell 1. The electrodes 2 and 3 are electrically connected to a power source 9, and pass rolls 10 are arranged inside and outside the cell 1 to constitute a conveyor line for an aluminum web 11 to be treated. When the distance between the tips of the electrodes 2 and 3 is denoted by (x), the line speed for conveying the web 11 by (y) and the frequency of the power source 9 by (f), 0≤g(60.x.f)/(100.y)≤0.2 of 0.8≤g(60.x.f)/(100.f)≤1, where g(a)=a-[a] and [a] is the maximum integer less than (a).
