Abstract:

To surely eliminate a multi-path noise in an FM receiver.

A high frequency extracting means 5a obtains a high frequency signal including a spike noise from an FM demodulation signal, and a numerical value generating means 5b generates a noise reduction coefficient for the high frequency signal. A signal component dividing means 5m divides the FM demodulation signal into a low frequency component signal and a high frequency component signal. Then a multiplier means 5h multiplies the high frequency component signal by the noise reduction coefficient, to reduce the spike noise included in the high frequency extraction signal, and an adder means 5i adds the low frequency component signal to the output signal from the multiplier means 5h, to obtain the FM demodulation signal with the spike noise reduced.
