Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform diagnosis by measuring the change in the orientation of an organization due to the deterioration of a material using ultrasonic data and comparing the measured data with database stored in advance.
SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor 1 is rotated to change the incidence angle of ultrasonic waves to a specimen 2 and the angle dependency of ultrasonic data according to the orientation of organization is measured by an ultrasonic data processing device 6a. Then, the angle dependency of ultrasonic data according to the orientation of the measured organization is compared with a database 8 which is measured in advance and the degree of deterioration of a material is evaluated by a deterioration diagnosing device 7.
