Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily obtain a desired output without updating an analytic model by calculating and deriving a partial differentiation coefficient matrix showing the relation between an input variation quantity and an output variation quantity and specifying a branch which is large in the sum of squares of longitudinal or lateral norms or longitudinal or lateral elements of the partial differentiation coefficient matrix as a branch which is large in the degree of influence to other branches of a network.
SOLUTION: When output data Y1-Yn are represented as a partially differentiable function including input data X1-Xn as variables in the network with (n) branches, the partial differentiation coefficient matrix J shown by the expression is calculated and derived to previously find the rate δYi/δXj (i, j=1-n) of variations of the input data and output data. Then the branch which is large in the sum of squares of the longitudinal norms or longitudinal elements of the matrix J is specified as the branch which affects other branches of the network large. Or the branch which is large in the sum of squares of the lateral norms or lateral elements is specified as the branch which is affected large by other branches of the network.
