PURPOSE: To simply evaluate the performance of a joint seat numerically in a short time by adding an arbitrary differential pressure condition to a gas flow from one side to which a sealability index is set, and comparing the measuring a numerical value sensed by a sensor for measuring the sealability index and a set sealability numerical value.
CONSTITUTION: A coil spring 50 is compressed through a load cell 120 by rotating a push bolt 70 provided on a frame body 1 and works prescribed pushing force on a push rod 30. A value of this pushing force is indicated in a recorder 160 through an amplifier 110 from the cell 120 installed between the spring 50 and the bolt 70. A joint seat 60 is compressed arbitrarily by pushing force corresponding to an actual use condition, while reading this indication value. Also, a value of a temperature of the seat 60 is indicated in the recorder 160 through the amplifier 110 by a thermocouple 140 contained in a sample receiving base 40.
