Abstract:

To quantitatively detect reflection distortions formed on a surface, when evaluating a three-dimensional surface shape of an object for a method and a device for evaluating a three-dimensional surface shape of an object, and to provide a method of manufacturing window glass for vehicles.

Data for the three-dimensional surface shape of a target object are obtained, and a second derivative value of the obtained data of the surface shape is calculated. Also, the three-dimensional virtual shape data requested for the target object are calculated, and a second derivative value of the calculated virtual shape data is calculated. Then, the difference between the calculated second derivative value of the three-dimensional surface shape of the target object and the second derivative value of the virtual shape data is calculated, and the surface shape of the target object is evaluated, based on the difference.
