Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for extruding a twisted body by which the pitch of twist of formed product to be extruded is shortened and the load for compressing the material to be formed is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: The material A to be formed is housed in a blind cylindrical container 1, and a die 5 having the same diameter as the opening part of the container 1 and carved with a spiral-shaped discharging port 4 in its center part is pushed into the container from the opening part while revolving it to extrude the material A to be formed from the discharging port 4 of the die 5 as the twisted body B in the direction opposite to the pushing direction.
