Abstract:
To provide a method for feeding work-piece by which work-pieces having circular cross section such as, for example, a roller can be fed to a centerless grinder one by one.SOLUTION: In feeding a work-piece W to a centerless grinder which loads the work-piece on two rollers Rr, Rl and grinds the work-piece, firstly, the work-piece is loaded on a work-piece loading part 52 whose width is smaller than a diameter of the work-piece. Next, the work-piece loading part is moved so that an axis of the work-piece is coincident with an axial direction of the roller just above a substantially middle of two rollers. Subsequently, the work-piece loading part, on which the work-piece is loaded, is lowered, only the work-piece loading part is passed between two rollers, and the work-piece is loaded onto two rollers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
