Abstract:
To provide a method for fixing a functional material with good accuracy in a prescribed position on a fixing surface.
This method for fixing the functional material comprises: a droplet ejection step (Fig.(A)) of ejecting a droplet (10) of the functional material (11) dispersed in a solvent (13) onto the fixing surface (20a); and a drying step (Fig.(B)) of locally heating the droplet (10) ejected on the fixing surface (20a) and gasifying part of the droplet (10) by irradiating the droplet (10) with a laser beam.
