Abstract:
To provide a method, a device, and a fluorescent material or a phosphor for detecting sulfidation corrosion sites, which enable detection of sulfidation corrosion sites over a wide range.SOLUTION: Ash 11 on a surface of a boiler heat transfer tube 10 is irradiated with ultraviolet light, and a covered site 13 covered with a fluorescent part 12 of the ash is determined to have sulfidation corrosion if the fluorescence emitted from the florescent part 12 of the ash 11 has a first peak wavelength in a wavelength range of 500-550 nm, inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
