Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for forming a high quality image through scanning exposure with the use of a laser beam, especially, the laser beam of short wavelength.

CONSTITUTION: As for this method; a photosensitive layer containing dystuff and/or pigment is formed on a supporting body, and further a protective film is provided on the photosensitive layer, image forming material for transferring an image to a body to be transferred by the difference of stickiness in transfer between an exposed part and an unexposed part on the photosensitive layer after image exposure is used, then the laser beam having a oscillation wavelength range of 320nm to 400nm is used as a light source for image exposure.
