To provide a method which enables deep-drawing without the occurrence of necking or breaking and requires a low-cost, a short production tact time and little initial investment, and to provide a device therefor.
At the time of forming a pressed article beyond its stretch rate, a method for forming the pressed article which enables deep-drawing without the occurrence of necking or breaking is as follows. A wide part for deep-drawing is prepared beforehand in material to be formed. The wide part is formed by a cam driver which moves responsively to an upper die and by a cam slider which is pressed by the cam driver, while the wide part is fed into the die in the state that the wide part is held down by the notch of the cam slider. A device for forming the pressed article which enables deep-drawing without the occurrence of necking or breaking comprises: a lower die having a female type which performs forming beyond its stretch rate, the upper die having a male type which is forced into the female type, a cushion pin which holds the material to be formed, a plate hold-down device, the cam driver which moves responsively to the upper die, the cam slider which has the notch formed at its inside end to grip an unformed part of the material to be formed and presses the material to be formed in the direction of the center of pressure with the cam driver.
