Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a spiral slit on the pipe wall of a corrugated tube automatically accurately with an economical structure.
SOLUTION: A cutter 36 for forming a slit is revolvably supported and fed in a corrugated tube 20 in the direction inclined to the axial direction of thereof while the tube 20 is moved along the axis of revolution of the cutter 36. Also, the cutter 36 is supported on a cutter support member 24 having a tube inserting hole 29, while the cutter support member 24 is suported on a rotary support member 22 rotatably about the axis of the corrugated tube 20.
