PURPOSE: To enable to improve the effect of a fulling action with high pressure jet flows by subjecting a high pressure fluid to jet-collision with a web carried in an expanded state and sucking and discharging the remaining fluid on the web through a suction head.

CONSTITUTION: An expanded wed F is transferred on a conveyor through feeding rollers 6a, 6b and carried in the direction of X. The web collides with the jet flows of a high pressure fluid under nozzles 3. The remaining fluid on the web F is sucked and discharged through a suction head 10 disposed under the carrying surface of an endless belt 4 having many penetrated holes and employed for carrying the web F to prevent the formation of a fluid layer on the web, thereby avoiding the lowering of the speed of the jet flow applied to the web.
