To provide a method and device for generating moving image by which the quantity of arithmetic operation can be reduced by simplifying the calculation of the movement of an object.
An information processor is provided with an area discriminating section 100, an updating interval deciding section 200, and a movement calculating section. The area discriminating section 100 divides a virtual space into a plurality of areas in which physical quantities are updated at different updating intervals and discriminates the area to which an object to be updated belongs at certain time. The updating interval deciding section 200 decides the updating interval of the physical quantities of the object to be updated based on the discriminated results of the discriminating section 100. The movement deciding section calculates the movement of the object based on the updating interval decided by the updating interval deciding section 200.
