PURPOSE: To assure the formation of a tooth depth and to minimize torsion by pressure welding a shaft by means of a compounder die having a shaping section and simultaneously allowing the reaction force smaller than this operational force to act on the free end of the shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The compounder die 5 is held within an acceptive bushing 4 in the lower side part of a tool illustrated by a tensioning plate 10. The compounder die 5 is supported by the tensioning plate 10 via a guide bushing 6 against the press welding force acting in an axial direction. A second punch 7 is arranged on the inner side of the guide bushing 6 and a punch 7 is coupled via an accepting part 8 to a piston 9 for a second punch 7. A cylinder 11 is helpful for presentation of the reaction force via the suitably adjusted pressure of a liquid pressure type. The second punch 7 is held through the compounder die 5, by which the presence of the counter pressure for the teeth to be generated at the shaft 3 is imparted to the shaft from the beginning of the working operation.
