A stereoscopic image from an optional viewpoint is generated by producing a three-dimensional model within a three-dimensional space in which an object is arranged from the photographed image, moving a viewpoint from an inputting means, setting a new viewpoint due to turning data acquisition and producing images for left and right eyes in the case of observing the threedimensional model from the new viewpoint.
