Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for glass polishing, the method and the device providing easy control of working fluid, suppressed cost, easy washing of abrasive grains remained on a work piece after processing, reduced environmental loads and low cost.SOLUTION: A glass polishing device according to the invention includes an acrylic tool 2, a working fluid supply means 3 for supplying working fluid 8 that is deionized water or solution having an adjusted pH value and no abrasive grains between a glass work piece 9 and the acrylic tool 2, pressurizing means 4 for producing a pressing force for bringing the work piece 9 and the tool 2 into contact with each other, and a relative operation means 5 for moving the work piece 9 and the tool 2 relatively to each other to execute polishing under the pressure-contacted state by the pressurizing means 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
