Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for hardening a part to be hardened which is set on a projecting bar part of a pressed article in a short period of time.
A guide piece 11 having a guide-working surface of a shape copying the part to be hardened which is substantially as large as the part to be hardened is disposed so as to substantially cover the part to be hardened set on a ridge part 1C of the projecting bar part 1A of the pressed article, the guide piece 11 is subjected to the induction-heated, and the entire part to be hardened is simultaneously induction-heated to perform the hardening.
