PURPOSE: To attain uniformity of a cross hatch formed in an internal surface of a drilled hole by uniformly generating pressing pressure to the internal surface of the drilled hole by a guiding wheel, at honing work time, corresponding to changing internal diametric dimension along an axial direction of the drilled hole.

CONSTITUTION: In the vicinity of the top dead center 15a with a large internal diameter of a drilled hole of a cylinder bore 15, an extending pressure by an extending pressure giving means 21 is increased, and in the vicinity of the bottom dead center 15b with a small internal diameter of the drilled hole, this extending pressure is decreased. In this way, pressing pressure to an internal surface 16 of the drilled hole by a grinding wheel 29 is uniformly generated over a total length of the cylinder bore 15, to uniformly obtain also clearness of a cross hatch.
