Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for immobilizing CO2 capable of immobilizing plant-derived CO2 as carbonized matter facilitating storage thereof.
A method for immobilizing CO2 comprises carbonizing vegetative matter 90 to be carbonized by carbonizing at a predetermined carbonization temperature to immobilize CO2 as carbonized matter 91 and generate a dry distilled gas 92 using a rotary kiln type carbonization furnace 2. With this method for immobilizing CO2, carbonized matter 91 and a dry distillation gas 92 are obtained from the vegetative matter 90 to be carbonized. Consequently, CO2 can be immobilized as the carbonized matter 91.
