To provide a device for inserting a honeycomb mold into a drying jig capable of correctly inserting the honeycomb mold extruded from an extrusion device into the drying jig without changing the posture of and deforming the honeycomb mold.

This device for inserting a honeycomb mold is provided with a belt conveyor 2 to carry a honeycomb mold 1, a moving means to move the belt conveyor 2 in the direction orthogonal to the belt advancing direction, a jig fitting base 13 which is provided in the downstream of the belt conveyor and temporarily fixes a drying jig 12, a slide roller 15 to oscillate the fitting base in the horizontal direction with the insertion side of the honeycomb mold as a supporting point 14, and an inverting base 16, a shaft 17 and an air cylinder 18 to incline the jig fitting base in an inclined manner relative to the horizontal direction.
