Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for inspection which enables knowing the durability of the coat film of a plastic spectacle lens in advance.
When one plastic spectacle lens in each lot of many plastic spectacle lenses after a manufacturing process for, for example, a coat film is sample and inspected, the method and device test the durability of the coat film by applying pressure annularly to the top and reverse of the plastic spectacle lens with the coat film, so that the curvature of the spectacle lens is varied and thus the coat film is loaded, to cause cracking.
