Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform interchange conversion of a protocol between two communication terminals of different protocol systems.
SOLUTION: Between a protocol interchange conversion library 13 and a protocol interchange conversion program 24, internal information is exchanged for providing a virtual connection. The protocol interchange conversion library 13 sends the protocol system non-dependent logic host address name of a communication end point terminal 3 to become a virtual communicating party. The protocol interchange conversion program 24 finds an real protocol system dependent address from the logic host address name, preserves and registers the information on an address correspondence table in the protocol interchange conversion program 24. In place of sending this address information back to the protocol interchange conversion library 13, a unique index number showing an entry line in the protocol system non-dependent correspondence table is returned. Afterwards, the protocol interchange conversion library 13 provides communication while using this index number.
