Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device suitable for automating a process in a comparatively considerable range, while being characterized by simplified design of the device.
SOLUTION: This device for joining assembled hollow shafts is composed of attachable parts slid on a tube 18, such as a cam, a flange, a bearing sleeve, a pulse generator, a toothed gear or a chain gear slid on to the tube, wherein the tube, inside the attachable parts, is radially plastically expanded in individual portions by applying internal pressure in such a way that the attachable parts are secured to the tube by permanent press fit. The attachable parts and the tube are relatively individually positioned and fixed, and the tube is sequentially plastically expanded in individual portions associated with the individual attachable part.
