Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an efficient method and device for judging coincidence in an inferring system.
CONSTITUTION: In the inferring system 101 including a knowledge base 107 concerning a rule and a fact, the method for judging coincidence and the device for executing the method are provided with a step 109 constructing a limited new context from a default 103, a present context 105 and the knowledge base 107, a step 113 judging a relation concerning coincidence between the given fact and the new context by a rapid coincidence inspection, and a step 117 dealing with the given fact by regarding as coinciding with the knowledge base when the coincidence of the given fact with the knowledge base is displayed by the coincidence inspection.
