Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LAMINATING FIBERS INTO THREE-DIMENSIONAL WOVEN FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04146237
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a three-dimensional woven fabric free from fuzzing and the breakage of fibers and having an uniform density in a simply automatically fiber-switchable state by laminating the fibers along arranged poles through a rotatable multi-head type feeding head arbitrarily moved in a snaking state.

CONSTITUTION: When fibers A delivered from a fiber-feeding head 12a suitably moved in a snaking state both in a direction and in the direction orthogonal with the first direction along the arrangement of plural upstanding poles 3 mutually in parallel and vertically disposed in a desired outline region at a prescribed distance are disposed among the poles 3 in a layer state up to a desired thickness to form a three-dimensional woven fabric, a rotation base 11 supported in a rotatable state on a support base 10 movable in two dimensional directions along the arrangement of the poles 3 is disposed. Plural heads 12a-12e having fiber-guiding pipes 18 are disposed on the rotation base 11, and the fiber A delivered from a fiber bobbin 24a-24d can automatically be switched into a different kind of the fiber by a NC program control.
