Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate pipe laying work for laying a pipe in a ditch, which is carried out when a pipe such as a gas pipe, a service water pipe, a sewage pipe or the like is buried in the underground, without needing any wide work zone.
SOLUTION: A ditch 3 is formed in a pipe burying part, pipe loading bases 13 are placed at specified intervals on the ditch 3, pipes 1 are placed on the pipe loading bases 13 along the ditch 3, the pipes 1 are jointed together, one end of the pipe 1 is supported to be moved against the pipe 1 by pipe laying devices 5A and 5B movable on the ditch 1 along the same, the pipe laying devices 5A and 5B are moved from one end of the pipe 1 to the other end side, and the pipe loading bases 13 are sequentially removed from the end sides of the pipes 1 following the movement of the pipe laying device 5A. Thus, the pipe 1 in the moving direction downstream side of the pipe laying device 5A is lowered by its dead weight to the lower part of the ditch 3 over one end side of the pipe 1 to the other end side.
