Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve reliability for the durability of a magnetic disk or a magnetic head at a low floating amount by combining a dynamic loading system.
CONSTITUTION: The perpendicular magnetizing film of a magnetic disk 1 is composed of a ferromagnetic metal thin film, and surface roughness Rmax on the perpendicular magnetizing film side of the magnetic disk 1 is made less than 300A. The Vickers hardness of the slider of a floating magnetic head 2 is regulated less than 1700kgf/mm2. The floating magnetic head 2 for perpendicular magnetic recording is floated on the magnetic disk 1, and recording and reproducing is executed. In this case, the dynamic loading system is adopted.
