Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and device, which can manufacture a hollow bent member excelling in dimensional accuracy with high productivity and at a low cost while reducing the size of the entire device.SOLUTION: A manufacturing device comprises: a first manipulator 27 forming feed means 22 which is arranged at a first position and feeds a hollow metal material 25 having a closed cross section in its longitudinal direction; a second manipulator 29 supporting heating means 23 which is arranged at a second position downstream of the first position with respect to the feeding direction of the metal material and heats the metal material, and cooling means which is arranged at a third position downstream of the second position and cools a heated portion; and a third manipulator 28 forming second support means 24 which is arranged at a fourth position downstream of the third position and applies a bending moment to the heated portion of the metal material to bend the metal material by moving in two-dimensional or three-dimensional directions while supporting at least one portion of the metal material.
