Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently form a formed part having an intermittent spiral groove, by constituting the titled device so that a forming roller is moved in the axial direction of a cylindrical body, pressed against the outer wall of the cylindrical body, and separated therefrom.

CONSTITUTION: When a driving screw shaft 36a is rotated as soon as a main spindle of a machine tool 3 is rotated, a forming roller 39 moves continuously in the axial direction of a cylindrical body 100. A detecting signal of a detected mark 27a by a sensor 32, and a detecting signal of the detected mark 27a corresponding to the end point are inputted to a control part, and a feeding and discharging system of a pressure fluid to a cylinder 40 is controlled. By the cylinder 40, a fitting base 36 is extruded, and the forming roller 39 is pressed against the outer wall of the cylindrical body 100. In this way, a spiral groove is formed continuously on the outer wall of the cylindrical body 100.
